Stuck in the 80's

Is there a phrase or terminology for people who consistantly dress in the 80's? If not, anybody have any good ideas?

i would same very fashion-progressive. 80's style is coming around in a big way. have you noticed that this year straight-leg jeans are fighting their way back over boot-leg and those silly vests are a hit with everyone-including my mail man. Diesel unvieled a jacket straight from Michael Jackson's wardrobe (can i use straight & M J in the same sentence?!) for its fall event-that may have been a little too much. love you dude-no go get on one white glove and dance to make david bowie and prince scream!

lame would suffice! As for fashion progressive . . . I don't think so. Fashion keeps repeating itself because people are unimaginative, or just cleaned out their attics. "I can get another 2 years out of these parachute pants."

"Another two years out of these parachute pants?" Heck ya, you can. Its hammer time baby!

Dr. Feelgood,

Even though M.C. Hammer was primarily a figure from the 1990's pop culture, he was instrumental in bringing parchute pants (a style from the 1980's) to the forefront of popularity in the 90's. The topic of this segment wasn't about M.C. Hammer but about revisiting fashion from the 1980's.

Check and mate.
